Room for Hope
Today it seems that the whole world is under stress. There is just so much suffering from world pandemics, wars, family violence and political hatred of one group for another. One begins to wonder if there will ever be peace. The answer to this is yes — but only when evil stops.
Thank God for Easter and the Resurrection of Jesus. We believe and there is strong evidence from past history that where Christ is and Christianity is taught, believed and practiced, peace soon follows. Each generation seems to have to learn this again and again. But Christianity is about love and forgiveness and where there is love and forgiveness there is Peace.
So, there is a lot of room for hope. Even if one has to live a life of grave hardship, a Christian can look forward to a future of eternal peace with Jesus Mary and Joseph and all the saints and angels.
We at the Julia Greeley Home would like to wish all of our friends a joyful Easter season with all of the love, forgiveness, and Peace that goes with it.
