The support and expertise of our community partners are foundational to sustaining our mission. Through their generosity and collaboration, Julia Greeley Home residents are given meaningful opportunities to take their next steps toward independence and stability.
We are deeply grateful for our partnership with the Ward Family Foundation of Alexandria, Virginia. Their generosity has made a lasting impact—supporting former residents as they pursued education and career pathways, including healthcare certification, continued nursing studies, and coursework toward a degree in social work. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to expanding access to education and equipping women with the tools needed for long-term stability and independence.
Across the Denver metro area, our residents also benefit from rich educational and vocational resources provided by institutions such as Emily Griffith Technical College, Red Rocks Community College, and 2Succeed.
In the area of job training and workforce development, residents have received support from partners including Mia Casa Resource Center, Jobs for Life, and TPM Staffing Services. (Bayaud Enterprises previously served in this role and is no longer in operation.)
Just as important as the support we offer our residents are the meaningful opportunities we provide to our generous donors. Through our partnership with Step Denver – the residential recovery organization for men – Julia Greeley Home donors may donate their used vehicles, receive a charitable tax deduction, and know that the proceeds are shared equally to support the missions of both Julia Greeley Home and Step Denver.
At the heart of every form of assistance is spiritual support. We are deeply grateful for the Christ-centered organizations that offer their time, prayers, and encouragement to our women, including Christ in the City and the Denver-based St. Elizabeth’s Fraternity. This organization of secular Franciscans was founded more than a century ago – and notably, Julia Greeley herself joined its ranks in 1901.
